IAM Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IAM (Identity and Access Management) Project Manager to join our team. The IAM Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of IAM projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, combined with expertise in identity and access management principles, practices, and technologies. Should be prepared for trips on business to Serbia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Initiation: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines. Develop comprehensive project plans, identifying tasks, resources, and dependencies required to achieve project goals. Ensure alignment with organizational strategies and IAM roadmaps.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources efficiently to ensure the successful execution of IAM projects. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IAM architects, engineers, developers, and business stakeholders, to ensure effective utilization of resources.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Proactively monitor project risks throughout the project lifecycle and take necessary actions to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
  • Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders, keeping them informed about project progress, milestones, and any changes. Prepare regular status reports, presentations, and updates for various audiences, including executives and technical teams.
  • Budget Oversight: Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to develop project budgets and track expenditures. Ensure that IAM projects are delivered within budget constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Vendor Management: If necessary, work with external vendors and service providers to source tools, technologies, or expertise required for IAM projects. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure that IAM projects meet established standards and requirements. Conduct thorough testing and validation before project deployment.
  • Change Management: Develop change management strategies to facilitate the smooth adoption of new IAM solutions across the organization. Collaborate with training teams to design and deliver relevant training programs for end-users.
  • Project Tracking and Reporting: Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track project progress, update project documentation, and maintain an accurate record of project-related activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in project management, 3 of them with a focus on identity and access management projects.
  • Strong understanding of IAM principles, practices, and technologies, including access control, authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle management.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project success.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Experience in risk management, change management, and vendor management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Adaptability and ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Languages: English (B2), Russian. Serbian is a plus.
