2 more CVEs submitted and confirmed

We continue sharing our penetration testing team's success.

In the beginning of July our lead expert, Vlad D., has successfully detected 2 CVEs in BAS-IP intercom devices during an onsite penetration testing project. These CVEs are classified as medium risk level – by accessing the device’s web interface or API, an adversary can obtain passwords for the device’s RTSP server and SIP account.

BAS-IP has acknowledged Vlad’s proficiency and enrolled his name on Security Hall of Fame.

We are delighted to extend our congratulations to Vlad on recognizing his expertise and competence!

Once again this brings us to the question - how secure are the devices in our network? An intercom is handy, but what happens when it becomes a foothold of the adversary in your network?
